NO NO NO NO please for the love of GOD dont stop the release of Death Race you have no idea how long ive been waiting for the release of it. Now this shit is happening NO F!@#ING way. People have no idea how pissed i will be if they dont release Death Race.

why do they still call it a remake, since bares pretty much nothing with the cult classic, but the name, there were no prisions, criminals, wardens in the original, they were no framed protagonist, the races were across the country and killing civilians for points, these version has no balls for being made in a P.C.enviroment, I'm actually GLAD that the studios will get f'd for once if the suit actually works...

This is getting released so soon?! Friday! After 2 days? Wow, this has gotten so little publicity it´s even worse than X-Files: I want to Believe. However I don´t live in the states so I don´t know about the publicity there. About the lawsuit, it seems very "convenient" to sue 2 days before the movie is released...

So someone is bragging about this being their idea? Its not bad enough that its a remake of Death Race 2000, but what little originality the writer here supposedly injected into the premise he actually stole from someone else. Watching the trailer for this crap movie only reminded me how much more I'd rather see a Twisted Metal movie than this already derivative crap. I never thought of the Fast & Furious movies as smart, but next to this they seem like cinematic masterpieces.

watchmen is in trouble as well, being sued by fox films, who claim rights to the story. so this and trick or treat are movies we may never see....

I have to say I hope they release it. I've been looking forward to this for a while. I know this decade is all about remakes, but I must say, if done properly some of these classic movies could be incredible remakes. We will see I suppose.

They'll just settle out of court, this guy will get paid a modest sum and the movie will hit theaters as planned.
