Has anybody read the short story "Saving Grace" by Richard Laymon? For some reason I get the impression that this film is going to be somewhat similar. The story is about two young boys who find a naked girl in the middle of the woods being held captive, and it puts them both in a weirdly perverse situation. One of them wants to free her, but the other one wants to fool around with her. But yeah, for some reason I get the idea that this film is going to be a bit similar. But I'm probably wrong. Meh.

saving grace...i'll have to check it out. hmm... sounds like it could make a good movie!

If you want to read it, it's in a collection of short stories by Richard Laymon called "Dreadful Tales". It's a great book, I recommend it!

And as a sidenote, there's also yet another similar story in the same collection by Richard Laymon called "The Good Deed", although the ending isn't quite as dark as "Saving Grace". Come to think of it, "Deadgirl" could easily follow either of these two stories' premise. I'm curious as to how it's going to turn out
