A fun foreign film to be released last year was "Fritt Vilt", or COLD PREY if you will, a little slasher film from Norway. Today we discovered that not only is the official website now online for Cold Prey 2, but we got our hands on the poster and trailer for the film. You can watch the trailer by heading over to BDTV or read on for the poster. The story will pick up where the first one left off: The winter of 2006 five young friends met a brutal death in the Jotunheimen mountain range of Norway. Only a young woman survived. Cold and weak Jannicke struggles her way back to civilization. In the small local hospital the personnel are going through their daily routines. But then the bloody and beaten young woman is brought in. Later Jannicke wakes up in her hospital bed. But the hospital is darkened and not a living soul is in sight. Alone she carefully steps out into the corridors. Is her nightmare not over after all?
Am I the only one who is sick of seeing something along these lines in a plot description?
"Later Jannicke wakes up in her hospital bed. But the hospital is darkened and not a living soul is in sight."
I don't know, I am just getting sick of the hospital setting.
I agree about the hospital setting. It seems to be in a lot of horror lately. But the teaser makes it look like it really works, and they really try to capture an atmosphere rathern than just putting it there to add to the runtime.
That was a pleasant surprise! Both a poster and a teaser! I was not expecting that. I thought the original was a fantastic slasher and I´m looking forward seeing this one. I really liked the teaser even though it did´nt show much and this could be great. Seems to take a different direction than the original which is nice. I like the poster as well.
