I don't think neildiamondfan is a moron at all. He's certainly smart enough to see through the bullshit novelty that is every Saw sequel. Then again, you don't really have to be all that smart to be able to do that. The point is that the Saw sequels exhibit what is so wrong and yet so popular with so many horror projects anymore: there's all kinds of genre novelty just pouring out of it, but it just doesn't know how to tell a story or give a genuine, emersive viewing experience. And neildiamondfanis obviously able to see that. I'm sure he also knows not to underestimate the "average" person's ability to settle for the mediocre, hence the Saw franchise's popularity.
