Occasionally we cover music here on Bloody-Disgusting, but it's pretty rare. I like to post on the "shock-rocker" bands like Rob Zombie, Alice Cooper, Slipknot and of course Marilyn Manson. The truth is, it's pretty much impossible to cover "horror-themed" music without missing about 10,000 bands - who knows, maybe one day we'll have a music section? Anyways, some pretty huge news was announced - especially if you like either Marilyn Manson or Limp Bizkit. Read on for the scoop via press conference.
Former LIMP BIZKIT/current BLACK LIGHT BURNS member Wes Borland has joined MARILYN MANSON as the group's new guitarist, according to Blabbermouth.net
he news was announced by Manson himself at a press conference earlier today (view below) ahead of his band's appearance tomorrow (Friday, August 15) at the ETP Festival in Seoul, Korea.
Manson said, "We have a new guitar player that's gonna play for the first time tomorrow; it's the first time we'll play on stage [together]. His name is Wes Borland and he used to be in a really terrible band that he left because he felt that it was a destructive force in art, and he has his own band, BLACK LIGHT BURNS, but now he is in MARILYN MANSON. We don't know how permanent that is, but starting tomorrow will be the first step. So this will be the most indestructible MARILYN MANSON."
Twiggy Ramirez has also returned to the band. I can't wait until next year!
The limit of Borland's mediocre talent lies in his solo projects. Big Dumb Face was a perfect example. Pretentious wanker. Happy to hear Twiggy is back tho. One can only hope MM tries to "sing" less and goes back to his drawling and screaming.
Good lord, I thought Eat Me, Drink Me wasn't the greatest. If Borland can bring some Big Dumb Face-esque metal to the whole deal, it would be sweet.
As for Twiggy, who cares? John5. Period.
From one aweful band to the next. Manson was the man Ten years ago. but now he is just another blotted rockstar. I wish Wes would find himself a Good job.
Amen ShinJuggalo -- with Manson writing and Borland / Twiggy doing there thing: BRING ON THE NEXT FUCKIN ALBUM!!! should be incredible. and Ziltoid your a fuckin tard.
wes borland is extremely talented. his innovation is what makes him special. i'm probably not gonna buy the album or go to the show, but i'm at least intrigued now

Wow. You called me a tard. You really put me in my place. You're actually looking forward to this shit? You have ZERO credibility. Go fuck yourself, you useless troglodyte. How ANYONE can claim Wes Borland has talent and keep a straight face is beyond me.
I don't know why everyone hated mansons last album. I thought TGAOG and EMDM were his best efforts. it's frustrating how everyone turns against an artist when they decide to do something different instead of repeating themselves.
I guess the stereotype is true. Most horror fans really do listen to terrible music. 99% of "horror-themed music" is absolute crap. You're giving the rest of us a bad name. Have you guys ever heard Roky Erickson? He is the shit and he has an interesting, very macbre life story. And how about non-horror themed music? How about Neutral Milk Hotel, Joanna Newsom, Elvis Costello, and oh i don't know, the FUCKING BEATLES!!! Jesus, Wes Borland, really? Well unless you're all 14, then i forgive you.
I saw Marilyn last year at a metal festival in Tokyo. He still puts on a good show even though his last album only had 1 good song on it. Wes WAS the best part of limp(Not saying much), but he hasn`t really done anything lately. Lets see how it goes before we bash it though. eh people?
Fuadramses...you must be really good at making friends.
"I don't know why everyone hated mansons last album. The reason his last album was not very good is simple: he tries to sing. The man CAN NOT sing. With a different singer on the album it might have sounded better. Take Manson's name off the album and you would not be left with much. His slow drawling and menacing sarcastic tone worked much better on albums like TMA. There is a serious limit to his talent. Wes Borland joining is just another step down the ladder.
God i wish i was better at making friends with people that live on the the other side of the world, that i dont have anything in common with except we like the same genre of films. please let me know how to be a better friend. I just feel awful for having an opinion on the state of the current horror fan base. See ya at recess!
