Pretty cool, but it reminded me way too much of Lord of the Rings. I hope it has something distinctive, minus they're using different creatures.

I wasn't expecting much, but I must say that is a pretty dam good trailer despite the low quality.

this is one of the movies i'm MOST excited about seeing. this footage/trailer looks AWESOME! i didn't think i'd be into it as much without Kate, but i know think it's going to RULE! plus the addition of Rhona Mitra as Sonja just makes it that much better (IMO).

To hell with Kate. I'm just glad that Michael Sheen came back!!! He was the best thing about the first film and the 2nd was MAJOR lacking without him (although I did enjoy Kraven dying). He's an actual ACTOR and Lucien was a great character. And the Raz is back and with Nighy on board as Viktor this is going to be the best movie of the three. I'm freaking stoaked.

I HATE CGI-WEREWOLFES!!!

I really really hope this is more than just another exposition of how much more the film makers like vampires than werewolves. Seriously, watching the first two and seeing the werewolves get annihilated made no sense the way they are set up these films. They make the werewolves insanely strong and powerful, much more so than the Vampires, but they get f'd in the a every time they cross paths. When you make a movie like this, you have to balance it out. Especially when you're trying to make the Vampires the bad guys...

For what quality the video was, the trailer was actually pretty good. (Though it was pretty easy to see the CGI wolves that are a WIP) I can say I do like how the pratical wolves turned out, though I will also say I'm still more excited for the Wolf Man remake over this.
