Rob Zombie/ex-Marilyn Manson guitarist John 5 has recorded "a killer slab of raging fury" for rocker-turned-filmmaker Rob Zombie's next movie as screenwriter and director, titled Tyrannosaurus Rex, reports Blabbermouth via Zombie's MySpace page. The movie is rumored to be about a semi-professional boxer who is being pursued by a "biker gang from hell." Zombie reports via his bog that we should get an early sample of the songs on his MySpace soon. The film is due out on August 28, 2009 from Dimension Films, with his animated feature, THE HAUNTED WORLD OF EL SUPERBEASTO, still awaiting a release date.

John's got some really great albums on his own. I'm anxious to hear what he'll do with this, since I hope he lays off the 7 minute solos for the sake of the movie.
John 5 is awesome, whoever says he sucks probably has never bothered listening to any of his solo albums
