Disagreed. I like Halloween 3. Everyone says it sucked because Michael wasn't in it. Guess what, parts 5,6,8 and the remake all sucked hard, and Michael WAS in those! Anyway, thanks Mr. D for posting this. It was actually really cool to see what the locations look like these days. I actually really like the look of that small town that played Santa Mira, I always did. Looks like a nice, peaceful place.

This HHG was amazing! I'm probably the biggest Halloween III fan on this planet (I even still have an old site up at: www.freewebs.com/halloween3witch/index.htm) I can't believe so many of those locations are still standing! It would be awesome to REMAKE or sequel-ize THIS film and shoot at the original locations! This film is totally underrated. This isn't really a film for the Myers-obsessed fans. But for fans of surreal horror this is a must!!! -Retro Horror Remix

I vote a whole look at Nightmare on Elm Street. I mean bedrooms, streets, boiler room, classrooms, bathrooms, just the whole works.

I like it as a stand alown movie but thats because I live like 15 miles from where it was filmed.

Yup, it sucked.

I was opened minded into enjoying this as a stand alone movie apart from the Halloween series..but nope it still sucked..it deserves the bad rep it gets

Keep in mind, Carpenter never intended Halloween to be "The Michael Myers" series. The first movie was suposed to be a stand-alone, which the second was made to put a definate end to Myers(as far as Carpenter's continuity is concerned, his vision of Myers died in Halloween 2). Halloween 3 was to get the series back on track to what Carpenter ORIIGNALLY wanted, a series that had each movie as a stand-alone feature that revolved around the theme of "Halloween", hence Season of the Witch also revolved around the holiday.

Halloween 3 is a fucking gem. I love this movie to no end and would love for someone to remake it. Use those exact locations. They still look scary. Awesome movie.

Well stated magnaderalpha. I liked Season of the Witch. Watched it about 3 weeks ago. I give it credit for being different & all. "HAPPy, HAPPy, HALLOWEEN, HALLOWEEN, HALLOWEEN"

I liked Halloween 3, I thought it was a pretty decent movie. I even own it on DVD.

The thing that stigmatized this movie was having "Halloween" in the title. I used to think it had something to do with a back story of Myers and his original clown mask. I've wondered how this movie would have done if it had been titled something else.

Thunderdragon and 713 what you should remember is that Halloween II sucks ass. Halloween III is the best of all the sequels. The rest sucks! The only other great one is the original. Well done to Carpenter and Hill for doing something new and interesting and not just re-hashing c*ap like most horror film makers do. Friday the 13th?

Chaosnbeer, the same goes for you. it doesn't deserve that reputation and it only has that reputation with whiny Myers fanboys such as yourselves who don't like change. It's a cult following check out myspace, facebook pages, the majority of this board........
