"Night of the Demons" is an example of a movie that SHOULD be remade. It was a standard B flick that had higher aspirations, and the result was an above average cult classic that was hampered by it's cheap budget. So it's not well known (or highly regarded) but it has a solid fan base of people who saw it on VHS or on "Monstervision" or on it's countless late night pay cable showings in the early 90's. So yeah a remake for this movie would be a great idea. If only someone good were directing. And if only they hired good actors. And none of these actors are good. So how are they improving upon the original. If anything this should have been a Direct to DVD affair directed by the insane Joe Lynch. That's the only way I would have watched. But with chicks from Dancing With The Hasbeens, and a girl who couldn't even hack it as a "Final Girl" against Jason Voorhees, I'll pass. And that's a shame. This is a squandered opportunity to remake a decent film and improve upon it greatly.
