Most of the "idiotic masses" are smart enough to read the frontpage blurb before clicking on each new item, so we know whether the item is directly horror-related, or simply has a loose connection to the genre (as in this case). The only real problem with B-D is that each item includes a comments section, giving bitter posers and lonely losers an opportunity to chime in with their petty bitching. On the boats and on the planes, they're coming to whine and moan!

Who gives a shit if it's horror film or not, it's John Carpenter who at least deserves a mention on this site. I for one am glad you guys did as JC is still and will always be my favorite director and I had not heard about this yet. The way I see it if Wes Craven can come back after abominations like Deadly Friend and Shocker and Vampire in Brooklyn then JC has an even better shot at it and I really hope he gets it. As for Cage being involved well that's a different story.
