I got this video in my inbox yesterday for something called 5 OR DIE, I'm not sure what it's for.. but I was told it was from someone very prominant in the horror industry so we figured we'd run it. And that whatever it is, rumor has it it'll debut online at the end of this month. We'll try and do some digging and see what it is, but it's creating quite some buzz online already.
Oh my god! I saw something fucked up on the internet. It was, like, a real snuff movie! I know I should probably call the cops or something but I'm so freaked out right now that I can't help but pace around and yell at my webcam about it!
This has got to be that. . . (Chain Letter? I think) movie that was talked about . . . somewhere. Here's the imdb page. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1148200/
Ha ha @ CinemaSuicide. Very true. Who the fuck would do that? And who is this guy going to send this vid to, anyway? Bah. Need to think your "viral" marketing through a little better, next time, guys.
it seems like bad viral marketing to have the title of the movie actually on the email. It ruins the proposed suspension of disbelief if they break the fourth wall so soon, like if ibelieveinharvydent.com said "See the Dark Knight, in a theatre near you!". So either this is really retarded viral marketing(for a movie called "5 or Die") , or it's only a semi-retarded viral marketing for Chain Letter. And since no one's heard of a movie called 5 or Die before now, I'm inclined to believe that it's just the heading on the proposed piece of chain mail.
