I'm starting to think the majority of Blu-ray releases are a crock of sh*t, especially after seeing the new DARK CITY Blu-ray, but eventually we'll get what we deserve. But if you're in a rush, MGM announced both Blu-ray releases of THE AMITYVILLE HORROR and CARRIE. The tale of the haunted house, which was remade a few years back, arrives on October 7th, while the Stephen King coming-of-age horror film hits retailers on the same day. No specs have been revealed yet. MGM announced Mel Brooks' YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN on Blu-ray for the same day. Watch for full details soon.
Actually it is spelled Blu-ray. Not Blue Ray.
And I love Blu-ray. With the exception of some early titles from 2006, ALL of the Blu-ray's I own are excellent. I own 31 and my friend owns around 50 or so. They have beautiful picture and wonderful sound. It is a VAST improvement over standard dvd.
I can't wait to get Carrie and Amityville Horror.
Great news!!!
I am looking forward to both of these on Blu-ray.The more horror on blu-ray the BETTER :D
