While walking around the San Diego Comic Con we were given a CD that featured new artwork for My Name is Bruce, which was written and directed by Bruce Campbell. In addition, the CD confirms a November release date for the film that he also stars in. MY NAME IS BRUCE is the tale of a small town set upon by demons after a group of teen-agers unwittingly unleash an ancient curse. Campbell, playing himself, is kidnapped off the set of a B horror movie and, despite his protestations that he's just an actor, is forced to play the role of his heroic movie character in order to save the town.
Everything else I've seen has been "cool", but that is incredibly retarded. And there's a "hit single"? WTF? How can it be a hit if no-one has even heard it, yet? Gah. I still can't wait for this flick.
I'd refuse to see this film if it DIDN'T have a hit single! I hope it's performed by Ray Parker Jr.
