We reported this late last year, and it has still yet to be confirmed, but the Dowdle brothers are quite sure that Sony Home Entertainment is planning to release the Spanish horror film [REC] (review) on DVD/Blu-ray later this year, alongside the release of the remake, Quarantine, which arrives in theaters October 10th. "REC" turns on a young TV reporter and her cameraman who cover the night shift at the local fire station. Receiving a call from an old lady trapped in her house, they reach her building to hear horrifying screams -- which begin a long nightmare and a uniquely dramatic TV report.
i'm not trying to promote "those kinds of sites", but it's online (torrent sites and other movie watching sites.)
it IS a good movie, though. it gets a little TOO shaky cam-ish for me at times, but still a good flick.
REC is awesome. Those of you who haven't seen it will love it.
