I'm not exactly sure how legit this are, or if they're even from the States, but either way you can check out two new one sheets. The first is for Jonathan Levine's long delayed All the Boys Love Mandy Lane, the second for Martin Weisz' Clock Tower, the adaptation to the popular video game. Read on for a look.
that Mandy Lane poster is AWFUL (not that the movie was that great or anything!). it looks like the cover for a cartoon porno.i prefer the Danish(?) poster for it.
Have to agree with Zombie Hell, the Clock Tower poster looks like the kind of thing I'd see on the cover of an old VHS tape from the 80s. The Mandy Lane poster looks good but the style is too indicative of the film Grindhouse.
Both posters suck. Yeah, Mandy Lane poster looks too grindhouse-esque. Clock Tower is pretty damn misleading as well, considering what the games were about. That one DOES look like it could be a cover from an unknown 80s slasher flick. Like, a virtual "Happy Birthday To Me II".
I like the Mandy Lane poster but it does´nt fit to the movie at all, really reminds of the Grindhouse posters. Would be a great Grindhouse poster but just does´nt work as a Mandy Lane one, i´ve seen the movie(sadly at the cinema).
I´ve never heard about the Clocktower, does look kinda 80´s but really Silent Hill like(even though i hated that movie) and i kinda like it.
Fuck "Mandy Lane" & it's shitty poster but if "Clock Tower" is anything like the original videogame it ought to be pretty unsettling. And the poster isn't too bad either even though it looks like it should have Linda Blair in the foreground somewhere holding a machine gun.
The Clock Tower one is kind of silly, but I like it. Mandy Lane looks like a bad photoshop job. She didn't even have a bellybutton ring. Plus she's supposed to be virgin-y.
The thing with Clocktower is that, if THAT is the real poster, it seems like they are aiming to turn it into your average slasher horror, cause I don't remember many male characters in the Clock Tower games(other than Scissor Man and his mutant family). It almost always focused on just a FEW female character. The games are more intimate and suspenseful. I fear that they will just take the concept of Scissor Man, and apply it to a cliche slasher base. It will be something like, "Jenny's having her 21st Birthday Party at her families's old Clock Tower. When her and her friend's try cleaning up and setting up decorations, someone, or SOMETHING lurks in the shadows. As the party begins, one by one, all of Jenny's friends fall victim to the dreaded Scissor Man!!". That's what the poster looks like it will promise, and that is SOOOOOOO against what the original Clock Tower series was all about.
I dont understand the clock tower poster.
have they even begun to start filming this thing?? I want a straight REMAKE of the ps1 game (clock tower 1.5 or something) with Jennifer throwing up, girls disembowled in the toilet, and ScIZZORMAN
I agree, Chococat. I don't understand why they used this picture, as well as showing a screaming GUY, who also happens to be shirtless(eye candy?). The poster seems more like "Cock Tower" than "Clock Tower".
