20th Century Fox provided us with a featurette for Alex Aja's Mirrors, which is centered around the already infamous jaw-rip scene starring Amy Smart. Read beyond the break to watch and check back for some interview bits from the French director soon. The story follows a security guard at a high-end department store who begins to investigate mysterious deaths occurring in front of the stores' mirrors. He soon discovers that there are murderous reflections out for revenge.
don't get me wrong, i LOVE Aja and his films. i'm very excited to see this. when Aja says that this scene will be the most memorable one in the film, it makes me think that they should NOT be showing so much of it. when it comes time to see it, it's not going to have the same punch.
I'm hanging for this film. Aja will not dissapoint, the guy is a fresh horror talent who clearly loves and respects the genre and hasn't failed yet. High Tension and Hills were awesome films and by the looks of this , Mirrors will be too
aja is seroiusly the best directorl, he always is thinking about what will scare him as opposed to thinking what would look the coolest on screen? its amazing... i cant wait for this.
