B-D reporter BC was on the red carpet for THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL at this weeks San Diego Comic Con and had the chance to talk to star Keanu Reeves about his role in the remake. During the chat, Reeves revealed that Warner Bros. is no longer working on a sequel to CONSTANTINE, the adaptation of the popular comic book Hellblazer. "We got killed by [it] being an "R-rated" movie," Reeves explains. He tells us that he was in fact interested, but the movie just didnt make enough [at the box office]. Watch for a video interview soon.

Strange. I recall hearing that Francis Lawrence was interested in doing a sequel, but at the time Keanu wasn't interested in returning to the character. Too bad. I would love to see a sequel.
