Legendary Pictures is developing an elaborate 2010 cross-platform launch for The Lost Patrol, a supernatural thriller script it has acquired for Matt Cirulnick who will adapt Andrew Hilton's screenplay. The company, basking in the success of "Dark Knight" along with partner Warners this week, intends to develop "The Lost Patrol" as a transmedia property similar to "Heroes," "Star Trek" and "Lost." The filmmakers will tailor tie-ins for various digital platforms from the outset, likely including cell phone, videogame and Internet.
