I love how 20th Century Fox has responded to fans in their concern over Alex Aja's Mirrors. After the initial teaser trailer, the studio has launched an all-out campaign to prove to us that the movie will in fact be bloody as all hell. Today we've been provided with a new still featuring star Amy Smart in a bloodbath - literally. Read on and chew on the madness. The story follows a security guard at a high-end department store who begins to investigate mysterious deaths occurring in front of the stores' mirrors. He soon discovers that there are murderous reflections out for revenge.

rosemarys_son92, i agree w/ you. it's not a spoiler ONLY if you've seen the Red-Band trailer. many people haven't, so i'm a little surprised they are giving away the fate of a major character. that being said, i'm SO excited to see this. Aja is fucking awesome!
That's the major drawback of providing gore-filled stills; the whole notion of spoilers goes right out the window. I don't care if it's in the trailer, I didn't want to have it ruined for me there either.
Awesome, this movie is going to rock. From what we've seen in the red band trailer this will be a bloody affair. Hopefully Aja has an unrated version up his sleeve.
I gotta say I had my doubts about this one but this basically takes the Dead Silence tongue-ripping scenes and takes it to an entirely new gruesome level. I really think they could do without the cliche "kid makes friends with ghosts kid gets lost adults stop at nothing to find kid" that 99% of horror films fall back on but I will probably see it now that they've shown some of the gore. Oh, and I didn't even know it was R! I thought it was one of those crappy PG-13 horror flicks we get now!
