This afternoon your first look at Christian Bale in McG's Terminator: Salvation is online in the form of a sleek teaser trailer, which can be viewed by reading on. Warner's film, which hits theaters May 22, 2009, is about John Connor, now in his 30s and soon to be wife Kate Brewster realize they must create a resistance organization with Earth's remaining survivors against the army of robots slowly being built up by Skynet. As they are building this resistance, one survivor happens to be a traitor in disguise, and has a secret that nobody would ever come to suspect.
I really cant wait for this installment, there are so many directions this can now go, and was a little concerned about Bale being Conner, but after seeing that, concerned no more.
I think this will be great. If they brought Arnold back now it would be ridiculous. Bale is an awesome actor, and I think he will hardly be disappointing as John Conner.
i'm w/ Pat34, i hope Arnold NEVER comes back to the franchise. Linda was/is my favorite from these movies, too! this looks like it's going to be AWESOME, though!!
yeah bad ass, cant wait to see this one, huge fan of christian bale, had he not been in this resurrection of the franchise it wouldnt have been interesting without arnold schwarzenegger, so god bless bale!!
...cant wait for this one!!
Looks good based on what we get to see here. Christian Bale could carry a movie even if it was about cats in space. Why are there so many Arnold bashers on here?
Arnold was great in the first two, but by the third he was too old. now he`s ancient and showing his age. let`s keep him out, or at the most a cameo that lends a nod to the first series. This is a restart in a way. Bale was a great choice. We couldn`t really see much from the teaser, but I am psyched. Can`t wait!
"Oh yeah, don't get too uptight about the prospect of the film being PG-13. We have entertained the idea of a PG-13 rating largely because Batman Begins, in my opinion, was made compromise-free. So we'll see. The movie comes first and it will be protected at all times…" We'll see... Either way, as long as it doesn't completely ruin the franchise like T3 tried so hard to do, I'll be okay with this movie.
I'm still not convinced. And if AVP-R and Saw IV taught me anything, it's that people will defend the crapiest piece of... well, crap- just because of the franhcise label that it is associated with. I will hold off judgement until we can actually see the flick itself, but I won't hold out hope like I did with "T3" or "The Sarah Conner Chronicles".
Im not really sweating the PG-13 thing cause if you think about T3 was barely an "R". It really wasnt that bloody with most of the nasty stuff happening offscreen. What I wanna see with this film is the battle between the human race and the machines, like the small segments of the other 3 movies, and on that.... looks like this could deliver. Those scenes could be exciting without Being overly violent (and Im a bit of a gorehound, odd huh?) I also have faith in Christian Bale. he's been pretty spot on lately.
looks nice. and I can live without arnie. I actually would've liked it a lot better if they had kept the original idea for T1 and used Lance Hendriksen as the terminator.
Im sure Linda Hamilton would have been up for the 3rd Terminator had she not been a bipolar sufferer (did I spell that right?) Though I think she had a good deal of loyalty to James Cameron and not that guy that made a bellow average sequel! T4 looks great, seems like they have kept the action and suspence that was lost in the pickable T3. James Cameron should be very proud. They couldnt have found a better actor to play John Connor Bale is awesome in anything he does.
awesome!!! loved all of the terminators it sucks that arnie aitn goign to be in iit or atleast edward furlong, claire daines or the dude from the last one (cant think of his name right now brain fart). i like christian bale since he played in the two batman movies and also in the machinest. so this should be interesting....ill def. be seeing this.
This does look good. Nice teaser, not giving too much away but i agree with other posts, they should never have killed off sarah connor. Being a film set in the future im sure they could find a way to bring her back.
I am patiently waiting to see this flick.Even though I want to see it NOW!!!!!!!!
Christian Bale is gonna knock this flick out of the park.Believe It.
I have 3 words "The Dark Knight"
$311 million dollars in 10 days.
