Lets be clear here, Magnolia Pictures' Red is NOT a horror film and is even way short of being considered a thriller. The film borders on drama with edge, so be warned. With that said, Apple.com posted the first trailer for the film, which begins its limited theatrical run on August 8th. You'll also find a look at the official poster for the Jack Ketchum adaptation at the link. In the film a couple of kids kill a dog named 'Red', the trusty hound of an old gent. The owner finds out who they are, and tries to bring them to justice by informing the authorities. However, this amounts to nothing, so he decides to dish out his own brand of retribution.
LOL THATS SAD THEY SPELT HIS NAME WRONG LOL....AND THEY SHOWED US THE WHOLE DAMN MOVIE TOO.
BUT ON THE HAPPY SIDE IT LOOKS PRETTY FREAKIN SWEET. I LOVE KETCHUM HE IS BY FAR THE BEST HORROR WRITER OUT THERE.... I JUST FINSHED OFF SEASON AND IT WAS BY FAR THE SICKEST MOST DISTURING BOOK I EVER READ. I AM READIN SHE WAKES NOW.
Movie sounded really interesting...and now the trailer saved me eight bucks! They need to fire whoever cut that trailer...
