The director of Ghost House's 2005 horror flick BOOGEYMAN is back, Stephen Kay has been tapped to helm the thriller CELL 213 from a screenplay by Maninder Chana. When criminal defense attorney JONATHAN PARKS is framed for killing one of his incarcerated clients, he is imprisoned at Dodgeville State Penitentiary and thrown into the isolated Cell 213, reserved for those guilty but compelling few whose souls are up for grabs by both God and Satan. The film begins shooting this August in Southern Ontario, Canada Casting to be announced soon.
This really isn't important but my birthday is on 213! Sorry guys but my OCD doesnt let me see a number and not think of somthing that goes with it. It sucks.
Actually, even when the casting gets underway, this movie will still have the same director that gave us the flaming bag of dogshit that was Boogeyman. When you polish a turd, you still have a turd.
Boogeyman was an okay movie. Not my favorite, but not the worst. But I don't know about this movie. Might be good, might be bad.
