Today B-D reader 'Emulator' sent us in a link to watch the Red Band trailer for Third Rail Releasing's Hell Ride (first review), which arrives in limited theaters (undeservingly) on August 8th. You can check it out inside and watch this spot for a very special drinking game we'll be bringing you around the time of release. Click here for our review from the Sundance Film Festival this past January.
Update: trailer comes courtesy of Comingsoon.net, where you can watch a much higher-res version...
Looks entertaining, but not as good as either "Planet Terror", or even "Death Proof" (that's just my opinion, I actually liked "DP" despite its flaws). This one has been on my radar for awhile and I'll check it out, if not in theaters then on DVD. Hopefully it's as fun as the cast makes it seem in the trailer.
the looking in box thing and not knowing what is special about it comes from repoman wich was homaged by qt for pulp fiction and retreded in this flick with bishop looking in a box and making a face, but overall this reminds of the usa up all night flicks i used to watch hosted by gilber godfrey, I'll check it out. to hell with mrs. disgusting.
This movie did get dogged out by you guys earlier in review. But that's just your opinion & I think it's refreshing that although your opinion of is low you still give it space & let people see this trailer to let em' make up their own minds about whether or not they wanna see it. It looks entertaining enough to warrant a look on DVD to me.
I don't trust this site for shit on reviews. I know they bashed on this one, but even if I didn't read the review, this one doesn't look THAT interesting. Maybe it's the trailer. Im going to watch this, but so far the trailer failed to catch that gritty 70's look I know they were going for.
That look very bad. Funny how some director try to imite 70's style and failed. Better watch "Vampire" of Carpenter.
