Sam Shepard, Rosanna Arquette, Jordi Molla and French star Vincent Perez are joining Dermot Mulroney and Diane Kruger in the organ transplant thriller Run for Her Life. Shepard plays a district attorney whose illegal heart transplant persuades Mulroney and Kruger's characters to seek one for their daughter. Arquette plays a pediatrician they consult with, and Perez plays a doctor whose practice isn't quite what it seems to be. Molla plays a corrupt police officer. Principal photography is under way in New Mexico. Two other organ thrillers are slated for release later this year/early next year, Lionsgate's REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA and Universal's REPOSSESION MAMBO.
WOW! First zombies are over done, torture porn tortured us, a onslaught of tween spookers, and now a run on organ transplant flicks, so when do we get awash in shark flicks(we need a new jaws) and giant monster movies(I'll settle for a giant shark, meg perhaps.) huh....
umm i didnt think there was alot of organ tran. movies that were redone except for the eye is the only one that comes to my mind....and name a few tweeen spookers besides the stupid prom night remake?.....umm cloverfield and the signal are giant monster movies....i dont think they will ever make a new jaws.....wouldnt mind seeing meg though if it ever gets done.
i didn't say redone a i said a run on them three companies make organ transplant flicks in rapid succession. my idea of giant monster flicks sure as hell isn't clover let down field, with remakes all the rage i thought for jaws was on the menu, with x from outer space coming back later this year< great trailer) and g the giant robo vs monster flick, and beleave it or not reptisaurus, the continuation of reptilicus zooming along i thought maybe we would get a big budget giant monster throw down. megs new book hells aqaurium is due out soon.
