This afternoon a brand new video interview was discovered with Bruce Campbell for his upcoming series "Burn Notice". The conversation took the turn towards THE EVIL DEAD where the Entertainment Weekly reporter joked about even more editions of the films arriving on DVD. Campbell explains that there will be a few more editions, but not through Anchor Bay, and that there will be new footage edited together for the extras. As for the long delayed EVIL DEAD remake, Campbell exclaims "I would just say it was attributed to SPIDER-MAN - his [director Sam Raimi] general sense is he can do those movies anytime. For right now he's plowing other fertile fields." What's it gonna take for Ash to return? "If Sam's not the guy behind the camera there's no reason whatsoever for me [to return]... what, are you going to make a 200 million EVIL DEAD movie?" Campbell jokes. screw the remake, what the hell is so hard about making Evil Dead 4? They just don't want to it would seem, they have every excuse in the book, obviously the fans don't matter.

This trend of old actors returning to the roles that made them famous could only benifit a new ED movie. After all no new (or old) actors are as cool, or good as Bruce.
Korollocke and Johnny come on man think about this even if ash get his hands on it who says he can even undo the deadites in the first place? and army was pretty wrapped up he just was sent back to his own time....and I could go on and on and on...but who cares
I would love to see ED4. I'll be satisfied with My Name Is Bruce for now. This is a pretty decent interview if you like all things Bruce.

Fuck Sam Raimi. He's been dick-teasing us for years. Evil Dead 4 could still be a good movie IF Raimi does it soon. Bruce Campbell isn't going to look like Ash ten years from now.
never seen any of the evil deads, but from all what i have read i am on the band wagon for a evil dead four and not a dumb remake....i am sick of the classics being remade. and ya if sly, and harrison ford can make comebacks in there core roles that made them big names that they are today then y not bruce cambpell??? its bad enough that kane hodder aint in jason and also that robert englund prob. aint going to be in the nightmare remake (even though he should be)...i guess noone ever cares about what the fans think or say or want..

Since they're talking about a remake instead of 4, it's pretty obvious that Sam and Bruce don't give a shit about the series anymore. They probably think us, fans are going to accept the shitty theatrical ending of Army as the ending to the series. Who needs a fucking remake, especially ED! Wake up Sam and Bruce, and listen to the fans!
i would love to see a fourth evil dead movie, it would seriously be awesome to see bruce campbell come back for it and sam raimi back to doing what he does best which is low budget horror films or comedies omg horrorchick81 you soo need to see the evil dead movies!!! those movies where so awesome, the first was like the scarriest movie and the second and third where just freaking awesome, and sadly i didnt care for the directors cut of army of darkness (which is evil dead 3) mainly cause i loved the insanity and comedy of aod that seeing a darker version of that same movie didnt appeal to me at all anyways bruce campbell you rock and will always be considered ash to me! :-D and cannot wait for his my name is bruce to movie to come out too!
I say they make an evil dead 4 movie in about 10 years. Think about it.
Ash (in his 50's or 60's) has been promoted at S-Mart and is planning on retiring and then bam! Deadites everywhere for what ever reason. I personally think Army of Darkness is one of the funniest movies and if you through an old Ash with his attitude then it would be hilarious. As long as sam Rami is set to direct.
ED is my favorite series! I don't want a remake either but since us fans are not the one making the movie we have to settle for what we can get. It sucks but as long as Raimi and Bruce are making it I think it would be decent. Let's just hope they can come to their senses and indulge the fans!
