Today a brand new pic was revealed from Universal Pictures' The Wolfman that features not only a better look at Benicio del Toro in his period piece costume, but also your first ever look at Anthony Hopkins in the film that is scheduled for release on April 3, 2009. Directed by Joe Johnston, Like the 1941 original that starred Lon Chaney Jr., new pic will be set in Victorian England. Del Toro will play a man who returns from America to his ancestral homeland, gets bitten by a werewolf and begins a hairy moonlight existence.
This is soooooooooo gonna f'n ROCK! I love a good period piece, and Benicio is sure to know this one all the way outta the park! Awwwwwwww-yeaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
This movie has an amazing cast, just by reading it got me looking at it then i found out it was The Wolfman remake lol i was like omg, i think after this movie comes out, horror fims will start topping the box office once again its time for horror to come back, and its been long over due
yeah this cool, hopefully it rocks the box office so we finally get the long promised Creature from the blacklagoon remake. Personall i would like to see a film based on the book Times Blacklagoon, that was a great read.
After reading the story, i wonder if maybe the beast lawarnce is after is the frankenstien monster and he becomes the wolfman to face him. This isn't to far fetched, universal annouced a remake of frank versus the wolfman a while back, would be a great cover-up if this is true, but it won't happen. But it's fun to imagine what could be.
I have a strong honest feeling that this film will set in the company of BRAM STOKER'S "DRACULA" and MARY SHELLY'S "FRANKENSTEIN" as being purely breath taking in every turn possible from acting as well as set designs.
