It looks as if NBC's horror anthology Fear Itself (all reviews) has gotten over the hump and is continuing on for another four episodes. This Thursday at 10/9 C Stuart Gordon’s “Eater" will air, while another three are lined up for the following weeks. Read on to see what to look forward to.

A rookie cop (Elizabeth Moss, “Mad Men”) must spend her first night in the precinct watching over a serial killer, coined "The Eater" (Stephen R. Hart, "Shoot ‘Em Up"). When her fellow cops start acting bizarre, she quickly learns that no one is who they seem. Russell Hornsby ("Lincoln Heights"), Pablo Schreiber ("The Wire") and Stephen Lee ("Boston Legal") also star.

a veterinarian (Wendell Pierce, "The Wire") gets bitten by a large, strange animal brought into his clinic, he begins to see the world and his stale life differently. Paula Jai Parker ("Side Order of Life", "The Proud Family") also stars.
i'm really excited to see "Eater" & "New Year's Day" (i love anything zombie!). Fangoria.com gave "Eater" and awesome rating. it says it's one of the best eps.
"Eater" looks like a sequel to "Incident on and off a Mountain Road" (from the first season of Masters of Horror). Despite the casting of a star of a Step Up movie, Darren Bousman's involvement in "New Year's Day" sounds great (not to mention it being from the writer of "30 Days of Night". I'll also be looking forward to "Skin and Bones" if only to see Doug Jones acting out of makeup for once. "Something with Bite" sounds kind of generic though.
I can't complain. It's great to see horror get some prime time. If we don't support this, then the studios will respond. I've been entertained thus far.
so far this show has been about as fun to watch as a dying parent, but ill keep my hopes up that itll improve.
that one about the serial killer husband was so awful i almost stabbed my eyes out. if i see another episode as bad as that im just gonna give up on this show all together.
I'll tell you right now that Eater is the best one from Fear itself. it had the most prep, the most style, a fresh crew and a avid horror fan. i really hope the show gets a season 2.
Red Snow and Nightmare is Lace was pretty good.
Family Man was depressing.
Community sounds like an episode of X Files that I've already seen
Spooked was meh.
