This afternoon 20th Century Fox launched their bloody red band trailer for Alex Aja's Mirrors over at IGN - click the link or read on to check out some real good gore (think Amy Smart ripping her jaw off!). The remake of the Korean horror film INTO THE MIRROR follows a security guard at a high-end department store who begins to investigate mysterious deaths occurring in front of the stores' mirrors. He soon discovers that there are murderous reflections out for revenge. MIRRORS arrives in theaters August 15.
This looks awesome! The premise sounded dumb, but I knew all along that Aja could be trusted (again). Looks like he won't fail to impress with this one -- and even better, it's coming out on my birthday.
looks really good thanks they let AJa doit diferent version and not a direct remake of the korean i see the original and this is another thing only take the basics
SO much better than the original trailer!! i knew it'd be awesome (i love Aja's movies) but now i'm even MORE stoked! i'll be there 1st show on opening day! Aja RULES!!
Great clip.
Just thankful someone posted this here.
For some reason, the birthdate of 10/09/1984 on the main site for the movie tells you that you're under 18. ALMOST made me not wanna see the damn movie! lol
I can not wait to see this, i really enjoy this guys stuff, high tension i loved, imo his hills have eyes was way better than the original, this looks amazing.
I wish they hadn't gone the intuitive child route (ala Poltergeist, Stir of Echoes), but otherwise it looks pretty good (Aja essentially expanding on the premise of the original). It definitely gives me more hope that that horrible teaser trailer did.
