Vivendi has officially announced the DVD release of Postal, which stars Zack Ward, Dave Foley, Larry Thomas, and Verne Troyer. DVD Active reports that the Uwe Boll directed film will be available to own on August 26th, and should retail at around $26.99. Extras will include a director commentary, deleted scenes, featurettes ("Raging Bull", "Verne Troyer as Indiana Jones"), and a free Postal 2 PC game. A Blu-ray release will also be available for $34.99 with identical features. Read on for the art.
Fuck yes! After seeing the opening scene and the trailers, I was dying to finally see Uwe accept his ineptness and make a movie that highlights his obvious sense of humor. Unfortunately, I would have had to drive hundreds of miles to see it in the cinema. I'm buying it, sight unseen, bitches!
Uwe Boll is a complete moron. But that is good for making a moronic movie. And moronic movies can be really good if they are done right. I hope that came out right. I guess what I'm trying to say is that his other movies sucked ass but I think this one will be good and I really want to see it.
Will be buying this, but just have to decide whether to get the Blu-ray or the DVD.
