It was revealed that Fox Home Entertainment will be debuting The Omen: The Complete Collection on Blu-ray Disc on September 9, 2008 with a SRP $129.98. This set will include THE OMEN 666, THE OMEN, DAMIEN: THE OMEN II and OMEN III: THE FINAL CONFLICT, plus most (if not all) of the extras from the previous DVD editions. The set will NOT include OMEN IV: THE AWAKENING. Additional details have now been revealed inside, including word on a new Collector's Edition of THE OMEN.

Prepare to scream as the dark terror of Damien is unleashed in high-definition with the Collector’s Edition BD release of the infamous horror film THE OMEN (1976) starring Gregory Peck and Lee Remick, highlighted with never-before-seen content including an all-new interview with director Richard Donner and special isolated score track featuring the haunting Academy Award®-winning music. Also available on BD will be the pulse-pounding THE OMEN COLLECTION four-disc set featuring all three of the original chilling films (The Omen, Damien: Omen II and Omen III: Final Conflict), as well as the terrifying 2006 blockbuster remake of The Omen that spooked audiences and critics alike.

THE OMEN (1976) BD will be authored in AVC (MPEG 4) compression on a dual layer 50GB disc; presented in widescreen (2.35:1 aspect ratio) with English 5.1 DTS HD Lossless Audio plus English, Spanish, Korean, Mandarin & Cantonese subtitles. Bonus features content includes:

bangor09 3:57am, June 28, 2008 PROFILE - MESSAGE - REPORT "the terrifying 2006 blockbuster remake of The Omen that spooked audiences and critics alike" Are you kidding me??? that remake was the worse of this remake invasion, and how come they didn't include Omen 4? granted , it was not perfect, but a lot better that the 2006 remake fiasco!!!!
