This is very exciting. It does seem a little incongruous to make it a big musical production, but I like that a lot. The concept of the story seems a bit simple, but very imaginative. The rock opera isn't for everybody, myself included. Still, half the impact of a story is in how it's told and this it potentially more unusual and different from what we're accustomed to seeing in horror. If nothing else, I haven't seen Nivek Ogre since he signed my scalp at the Crest theatre back in 1990, so I'm at least curious to see his performance in this feature. Looks awesome.
I completely hated this idea at first, but this trailer has me almost sold. Almost. I'm gonna agree with mfcmk about the whole "rock n roll opera" thing, which is the only reason this doesn't look amazing to me.
This film is going to rock. Darren Lynn Bousman has made a masterpiece here. I am so excited to see this film, I only wish I had the money to fly up to Montreal to see this at the film festival next month. If I did, I would be there in a heart beat! I loved Rocky Horror Picture Show (fan of musicals, what can I say) and the idea of this being a rock opera is just awesome.
count me in too! i'm fucking PSYCHED to see this. i've watched it like 10 times in a row now. i normally HATE musicals, but this gets me salivating! LOL. i concur, Lionsgat BETTER give this a proper release! Sarah Brightman looks incredible as Blind Mag. oh, and i LOVED the quick shot of Joan Jett! Joan rules!

This looks fucking promising... what the fuck was going through the director head when he casted Paris Hilton? Now, that Paris Hilton is in it, now I'm wondering if I should waste money on this. For me, she blew this movie for me.
i understand people's not digging this because of Paris, but all of the reviews i've read say she's either not bad or really good in this. i guess we'll see. and i agree w/ParisHiltonLover. She DOES indeed look incredible. i like her in black hair!
people, people. let's not judge this movie we haven't even seen just because there is a horrible actress in it. maybe she is good, like most critics are saying! all i know is that the music video released at the scream awards was incredible, this new trailer is fucking brilliant, promissing, fantastic, and that paris hilton DOES look incredible as amber sweet. MOVIE LOOKS AMAZING! Why are people hating because it's a musical? Since when do people not like music? And as far as Paris goes...yeah, I wasn't too thrilled about that skank being in it either. BUT, since it's a rock opera, her acting will be kept to a minimum while she sings, dances, and shows off her flesh like she's so good at. I doubt there's anything to worry about.
I think the word "amazing" is too powerful of a word to be thrown around loosely. I wouldn't say this movie looks AMAZING. Actually, I wouldn't say any horror movie looks AMAZING. But, this movie DOES look interesting!
Magnaderalpha... fully agree with you on the word "AMAZING". Repo looks enjoyable, looks fun and looks promising. I bet I would be more hyped up if Paris Hilton wasn't in this flick. Can you name me an "AMAZING" Paris Hilton movie? Pornos don't count. The last movies that looked "AMAZING" to me was either Indiana Jones IV, Ghost Rider and Star Wars: Episodes 1,2 and 3. Were those movies bad-ass? NO... HELL NO... FUCK NO.

Djblack1313... Casting is everything in a movie. Dying the hair of a horrid chick doesn't make her a better actress. She still has more viruses than Limewire. If this movie does rock, it's because either I was drunk or I was too high to even notice Paris Hilton.
Well, I guess we all know that there will be a lot of people are going to say they were drunk or high when they watched the movie and liked it, JUST because there is a terrible actress in it. People, let's watch the movie first, there IS a possibility Paris will be good in her role like most horror critics are saying! Bitching about it now won't help it at all.
Horror_Luva... You base your Friday/Saturday movie nights on people who don't know you? The horror critics... WOW. I trust no critic with my choice in movies. I MAKE THAT CHOICE. I am my own critic. I trust the cast, I trust the director and I trust a writer in a movie that I watch and buy? Simply, I know what I like. If I don't like what I'm reading or seeing about the movie, why waste time and money. If you go to the movies relying on critic reviews, you are robbing yourself of adulthood. You will never have the satisfaction of thinking for yourself.
MexicanDave, i respect your opinion, but it seems like you've already made up your mind about this movie because of Paris Hilton. i'm not a fan of hers at all but who the f^uck cares. Bausman knows what he's doing. i think this movie will be awesome and i WON'T be high or drunk. sorry!
Best trailer of the year! I loved it. Now just give us a poster (preferably something I can buy online and put on my wall) and a release date (preferably wide release).
ahha exactly what i was saying djblack. MexicanDave, it seems like you have made up your mind because of one terrible actress. I am saying the trailer looked AWESOME, and NOBODY IN THIS WORLD should like/hate a movie because the critics liked/hated it. But it's cool to hear other people's opinions about the movie, it's like wow they said it's pretty good, maybe it is. They're saying Paris is pretty good in her role, and MAYBE she IS! We will just be able to say it once WE have watched the movie. If anybody here likes a movie because the critics are liking it, seriously that person needs to eat sh!t.
Lionsgate will toss this on the scene, but stimies Midnight Meat Train??? The people behind repo must have highered some of the top of line hookers/pornchics to do some serious sucking and bumping with Lionsgate brass. probably just because Paris Hilton is saleable name is why it's getting preferential treatment,She also isn't afraid of a dick or camera is she....
