While we sit around and wait for Summit to release All the Boys Love Mandy Lane (review) here in the States, Optimum Releasing is already prepping to the release the film on DVD and Blu-ray July 21 in the UK. To promote the release they've posted six clips from the film, which you can watch inside. A group of high schoolers invite Mandy Lane (Amber Heard), a good girl who became quite hot over the summer, to a weekend party on a secluded ranch. While the festivities rage on, the number of revelers begins to drop quite mysteriously.
the movie's ok. not as good (IMO) as the hype. slow for a lot of it. but i DO know that a lot of people have liked it, so maybe it's just me! weren't there supposed to be 6 clips? not just 4?
When more people actually get to see this...the movie will lose the hype because it really isn't anything exciting or to hype about. I personally like it and I think it's decent...nothing more.
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I thought it was a great 80's-style slasher, only better. Less cheese, and more realism (if only slightly). It definitely lived up to the hype for me.
Well I guess it's nice to see that they are still pushing this. But the only thing good about it was the title.
