This upcoming weekend you can be the first to see All the Boys Love Mandy Lane (review) as it will play at the Flashback Weekend in Chicago (details here). Saturday, June 28th:
1:40 PM - Preview and Q&A with Brian Udovich, then the screening follows at 11:00 PM. In addition, we were provided with a brand new poster for the R-rated film, which can be found beyond the break. A group of high schoolers invite Mandy Lane (Amber Heard), a good girl who became quite hot over the summer, to a weekend party on a secluded ranch. While the festivities rage on, the number of revelers begins to drop quite mysteriously.
I saw this a while ago and I liked it. This poster is similar to the german poster but I like this one better. The color of the font should had been different or mixed.
I loved this movie. It seemed like one of the 80's slashers... but with higher production values and better characters, acting... you name it. Also, I kind of dig that poster. It's much better than the other American one with her standing in the grass.
The DVD hits UK stores on July 21. DVD rips have already hit all the torrent sites. It's a pretty good slasher throwback with great cinematography, but the twist is telegraphed early on.
i like the original poster better. this looks like the Funny Games poster (looks like Naomi Watts, too!). here's a link to the original poster:

I really liked this film (evidenced by my review) but the delay on this flicks release has been so f**king ridiculous that I'm willing to be most of the people are gonna hate it when they finally see it. (THE REASON....Too much hype) And once again the studios kill another genre film, with unnecessary delays and piss poor marketing (See BEHIND THE MASK for another example)
That R rating logo is bigger than the film's title. Reminds me of how The Happening bragged about its R rating... Noticed the red R on the Happening poster too as well as the official Mirrors poster. Is this a new trend? Wearing an R rating as a badge of honor is cool with me though! :)
I think it's great that it has taken so long for this movie to reach our shores and the fucking House of the Dead movie just got re-released on DVD in a now 'funny' version. It seems that in Hollywood good movies travel at 1/3 the speed of crap.
i like the one that is a combination of the original poster & the new poster. check it out here:

Saw the movie in Theaters in Amsterdam last week. Really liked the beginning and wanted to love it but it went down hill when the killing starts and became a bit dissapointed, i sort of semi liked lol.
Like the poster though, but i think it´s unfitting for the tone and atmosphere of the movie as being a bit of a spoiler.
What's up with the tagline?
But sweet poster ... I want to SEE IT NOW!
