Today a new poster was discovered online for Simon Hunter's The Mutant Chronicles, which has a lot of hype surrounding it. Rea plays the former commander of Lieutenant Mitch Hunter (Thomas Jane), a 23rd century Marine who tries to save Earth by leading a band of soldiers against evil NecroMutants. Perlman portrays the leader of a religious sect who thinks he can destroy the mutants and save the planet, recruiting Hunter to join him. Read on for the art.
What the hell?! I haven't heard of this movie until now, I usually check up on joblo, rotten tomatoes and B-D pretty much every day. Damnit, this sounds like it might rock! Pearlman + Jane + Malkovich + Mutants?! Fuckin' alright!
HA! Why does Ron Pearlman ALWAYS look like he's in creature makeup even when he's just chillin'? This poster is REALLY bad. After the box office bombing of 'Chronicles of Riddick' and the second 'Narnia' movie--the filmmakers for this turd have to be smoking chronicles to use that title. My prediction: Straight to DVD.
