We were nearly laughed off the planet for telling you guys about the Troll remake. Everyone around me kept telling us it wasn't happening, but our sources swore up and down that John Carl Buechler was gearing up to remake his own film. Over at E! they reported that Lindsay Lohan's sister, Ali, auditioned for a role and is looking to star in the film alongside the previously announced Noah Hathaway and Phil Fondacaro. "She was great," Buechler tells Mark Malkin in his blog. "The camera loves her. She's a really good actress...I am personally going to fight for her." The film is about a young boy enters a parallel world of wizards and magic where he befriends a good witch. Soon the boy learns that he must save the world from an evil Troll/Wizard that has the ability to hide his essence within the bodies of others.
Fuck Ali Lohan... I wonder if it the same Noah Hathaway from The Neverending Story as Atreyu? If it is, dude, I'm there. I also wonder if Limahl will do the theme for the remake of Troll?
Noah Hathaway was in NES but he was also Harry Potter Jr. in the original Troll. I think and hope this is just E! trying to build hype for the retardation that is the Lohan RealiTV show.
OMG, this will be terrifically bad. Buechler is a horrible director--his only film even worth slogging through is 'New Blood'. He's also a pervert, so no wonder the panty-sniffer's "fighting" for a Lohan. I hope this gets made so Johnny-boy can prove again how untalented he is at directing motion pictures. Hurray for shit!
Movie studios and directors are not creative anymore, Horror Film remakes suck, example: Amittyville, House of Wax, Black christmas, prom night, The Omen.
Troll is a classic horror film, it shouldn't be remade.
