This summer has been pretty good so far in terms of quality films, in fact it has probably been one of the best in years. Wouldn't it be awesome if Universal Pictures' The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (early review anyone?) was as action-packed fun as it looks? We'll know soon enough as the film hits theaters August 1st, making it one of this summer's closing films. I'm curious as to why bloody-disgusting is even reporting on this movie. It should be clear by the second film that these were never horror movies in the first place, but action-comedies.
These are in the Indiana Jones vein really, fun movies with super natural stuff in them.
