Universal Home Video has officially announced a Blu-ray release of END OF DAYS, which stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Gabriel Byrne. DVD Active reports that the Peter Hyams directed film will be available to own August 26th, and should retail at around $29.98. The film itself will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, along with an English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack. As far as we know, the only extra material will be a commentary with Director Peter Hyams. At the end of the century, Satan visits New York in search of a bride. It's up to an ex-cop who now runs an elite security outfit to stop him.
I have the HD and it has all the extras from the DVD - I imagine the Blu will as well (6 or 7 making of featurettes that are actually really well done - assuming you are like me and one of the 100 people in the world who likes this movie enough to care about the making of it).
