Published

AUTOMATON TRANSFUSION producer Will Clevinger dropped us a line this morning to inform us that production has now begun on his second project entitled THE DEVIL’S DUNGEON, which is said to be based on actual events. Inside you can find full details on the film, including the insane cast that has been assembled. Watch for more soon.
Producer Will Clevinger writes into the Bloody-Disgusting:

I wanted to shoot you an email and let you know about my new feature that I’m producing, that started shooting this past Tuesday. It’s called The Devil’s Dungeon and is based on actual events.

The cast is out of this world. It stars as the lead: Marieh Delfino (Jeepers Creepers II) & Eve Mauro, It has genre greats in the movie such as: Tony Todd, Tracy Coogan (the lead in Zombie Honeymoon), and Garret Jones (lead in Automaton Transfusion). Plus it also stars: Michael Madsen, Jason London, Jason Connery, Graham McTavish (Rome, Lost and bad guy in latest Rambo movie) and Allison Lange (the psycho in: Single White Female II: The Psycho) with a special appearance by James Duval and a ton of other recognizable faces.

We already shot all of Tony’s stuff on Tuesday and the next few days are pretty slow. Things start getting fun and nasty next week. Madsen comes in on the 18th.

The movie’s called – The Devil’s Dungeon and is a cross between Wolf Creek and the House of Whipchord, shot in the style of CloverField and Children of Men. It’s about a demure young single mother who works for a battered women’s shelter, who is fed up with being in debt, so she reluctantly decides to become a stripper for a month in order to earn some fast cash. When she’s approached by a stripper friend to take her place to dance at a well-paid private party, she jumps at the chance of making the extra money. But little does she know, the private party is actually a malicious trap by a psychopathic killer with a vendetta against strippers, where her worst nightmares are about to begin.

‘Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare’ – First Image from ‘Poohniverse’ Horror Movie

The filmmakers behind Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey are expanding their public domain horror universe with a handful of upcoming “Poohniverse” movies, including Bambi: The ReckoningPinocchio: Unstrung, and Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare.

Variety has scored the first image from Neverland Nightmare, seen above.

The website details, “Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare follows Wendy Darling as she strikes out in an attempt to rescue her brother Michael from ‘the clutches of the evil Peter Pan.’ Along the way she meets Tinkerbell, who in this twisted version of the story will be seen taking heroine, convinced that it’s pixie dust.”

Scott Jeffrey will direct Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare, expected Halloween 2024.

Jeffrey tells us, “I am taking inspiration from French cinema while in prep for this movie. The film will be incredibly tense. I would say it’s a mesh between Switchblade Romance and The Black Phone with our own spin on it. It is a nasty, violent and incredibly dark movie.”

Megan Placito has joined the cast as Wendy Darling, Kit Green is Tinkerbell, Peter DeSouza-Feighoney (The Pope’s Exorcist) is Michael Darling and Charity Kase (RuPaul Drag Race) is James. Martin Portlock will be playing the twisted version of Peter Pan.

Created by J.M. Barrie way back in 1902, the character of Peter Pan – like Winnie the Pooh – is in the public domain, even if the iconic Disney iteration of the character is very much not.
