This morning Lionsgate Home Entertainment announced SUNDOWN: THE VAMPIRE IN RETREAT Special Edition, due out on September 23rd. The 90’s film stars David Carradine (Kill Bill: Vol 2) and Bruce Campbell (Burn Notice). Set as a horror-western about a group of vampires who live in a desert town and then battle each other for the rite to drink the true blood of humans again after an attempt to live off of synthetic blood, the film is sure to bring a big bite with extra features. This is also the first time it is being released in a Special Edition package.
