his movies aren't terrible. his first 2 were incredible and the public just expected excellence afterward. the guy keeps trying to do something different and keeps getting shat on for it. I have no doubt that people can't wait to rip this new movie apart before even seeing it.

I've liked everything he's done so far to varying degrees. I don't even think it's a matter of the audience expecting excellence, but just expecting something other than what they're presented with in general. Like when The Village came out and everyone got all pissed off that it wasn't some big bloody monster movie.

It`s gonna suck. His movies have been going downhill since the beginning. The preview when the BD page loads is annoying too. It`s rated R. who cares? The sixth sense was scary...nothing he has done since has been. People hated the village because it was predictable and boring. Lady in the water...dont get me started. Sings was ok until they showed the damned alien, then it became a comedy. Unbreakable, I loved. I dont have faith in Shyamalan. his 3 strikes are up. I will be waiting until the DVD for this one. Who knows, maybe I will be wrong about it, but I have wasted too much money on the last 3 stinkers to do it again.
