Attack of the Show 's Blair Butler is set to shoot a pilot episode of a new show for VH1 entitled "America's Next Top Zombie Idol". Here's the logline we were provided with: Eight zombies live together and compete for the winning spot in a reality TV competition. The pilot episode begins lensing June 28 in Los Angeles for two days with it's air date slated to debut during the '80-'09 season. Blair is both the writer and the director of the project. VH1 also announced a partnership with Lionsgate for the reality series "Scream Queens" this past week (more details).
Sounds pretty stupid. I wish televisions would do something smart for once like...oh I don't know, bring back a good show that cancelled? As opposed to coming up with more crappy shit?
What's with VH1 wanting to get into horror? The most horror they've ever become was running both Michael Jackson's Thriller AND Rocky Horror Picture Show for Halloween.
