While we all sit in anticipation for Lionsgate to give Repo! The Genetic Opera (review) a release date, little nuggets of information continue to find their way online. Today two new images were found from Darren Lynn Bousman's futuristic horror-musical, along with a review of the actual soundtrack! In the not-so-distant future when an epidemic of organ failures devastates the planet, scientists gear for a massive organ harvest. A biotech giant comes up with easy organ payment plans, but all financed organs are subject to legal default, including repossession at the hands of repo men.

It's new. It isn't a sequel or a remake and it won't have any long black haired Japanese ghosts in it,so give it a chance already!Bousman has established himself well enough that I'm psyched to see what he brings to this genre blending flick.
This is an interesting concept, a different version of Sweeny Todd. How about the White Stripes in the soundtrack?
