If you head on over to the official Platinum Dunes page you can check out the latest blog entry from Producer Brad Fuller. In the new blog he chats a bit about how important THIS upcoming Friday the 13th is to the remake of Friday the 13th, which is currently lensing in Austin, Texas. Click here to read our exclusive set visit preview piece with a full report forthcoming. Also don't forget to check out the new Darren Bousman Blog, which launched this past weekend. Jason Voorhees returns in FRIDAY THE 13th on February 13, 2009.
Actually it's because it's my son's 5th birthday. He was born on Friday the 13th back in '03 which I think is cool, but of course my wife was freaked out. This year I plan on getting him a Jason style hockey mask. Not that he'll het it but he loves crap like that.
wonder if it is gonig to be the teaser trailer or we get o see jasons face? i so cant wait for this movie. one of the top ten movies want to see next year. this is good early early wedding gift to myself. happy early bd to your son fringe guy!
it needs to come sooner what editing is only gonna take 7 weeks ? i meean i think it should come out august 31st like halloween did get everybody excited 4 the ending of summer again
A teaser trailer would only be perfect if they got the same guy who did the trailers for parts 4-7 I believe. The guy with the raspy voice. "There is a legend..." or "There is a curse..."
Did you guys read the story at all? There's nothing that's going to be "revealed". It's only mentioned because they're coincidentally wrapping shooting on that day. Reading comprehension is your friend. Either way though, great, they happen to be wrapping shooting on a Friday the 13th. Tell me again why this is newsworthy.
It's "newsworthy" because it's an official blog entry from Platinum Dunes itself. Blogs aren't necessarily news mediums per se, zach, but rather places for opinions, anecdotes, random thoughts, etc. In this case, however, anything posted on the new film is worth a mention on this site, because it's coming straight from the people actually producing the film.l
Who cares if it's a blog entry from the people making it? Filmmakers write blogs all the time when making their movies and unless something big is mentioned, it's not considered news. But I guess since BD is in the middle of its big Platinum Dunes suck off, every time the producers fart, it's gonna be reported as headline news.
