Today Fox Broadcasting posted the official trailer for their upcoming new TV series FRINGE, which is produced by J.J. Abrams ("Lost", Cloverfield). When an unlikely trio uncovers a deadly mystery involving a series of unbelievable events, they discover it may be part of a larger, disturbing pattern that blurs the line between science fiction and technology on FRINGE airing TUE 9/8c this fall on FOX. Read on for a look. What do you guys think? Will this be the new LOST?
Don't waste your time with this. JJ Abrams is a fucking HACK. It will just be another creation of his that creates nothing but questions and no answers. Then what...a stupid website with secret footage? STTUUUPPPIIIDDD. Someone stop this asshole.
disanti STFU please just do that because even thought he might be a fucking hack compare his bank he makes off something like clover field compared to what you made in the last 5 years
I've been in college so sorry...ask me again in 30 years. They pay people lots of money to be shitty at their jobs...just look at our president. So don't tell me that is a reason to jump on the JJ Abrams ball licking wagon. For all that hype, whatever he directs/produces ends up turning into a lackluster and dull pile of shit.
Congratulations!! you have an opinion.. You sound like some kind of fuckin relgious zealot that thinks because they think it it must be so.. Grow up and get over yer fucking self..
I actually dig Lost.
For one its basically the only show on tv which isn't about cops or set in a hospital.
Secondly the fact that it actually holds things back to build a mystery around the show is appealing to alot of people. Surprisingly enough we all don't enjoy being treated like children and having shows spoon feed us everything.
Well, I hope it's not like Lost. I mean, my God, lately that show is so freakin' stupid I can't stand to watch it. But this looks good. So does the female FBI agent.
No one said shows have to spoon feed anything. But questions eventually need to be answered. You build something up as much as lost and Abrams has dug himself a hole by having to produce the holy grail of series finales. Abrams is more like Don King than anything. He can certainly hype shit, I'll give him that. But, you can only fool people with hype so much, look whats happened to M. Night. It's gonna be just like walking out of Cloverfield with the feeling "Really, I waited that long for that?" Rip me all you want...but it's a fair opinion and there are a lot of people who work in production who feel the same way.
I don't think it looks like another Lost, but I'm looking forward to this show because of John Noble (the beardy guy who de-beards himself). And it looks kinda silly/fun.
Disanti he still makes more money in other words a FINANICAL SUCCESS and in a world where money makes or breaks the man....he owns you and I'm a college student also but that dosen't mean you can't be a huge success. I'm not on the ball licking wagon ,I wish lost would die but it hasn't and most like WON'T for at least another 2 seasons and I know it's made more money then I will in my life time if I don't hit it big after college so STFU. I'm just giving the man his props where they are due because that fucking hack is a bigger succes then we are at the moment if we do it it big we can call him a fucking hack and I won't say shit against it
You sound like such an idiot. He'd trade all that money in to make just one thing that could be considered a classic for all time. So far it's been all commercial friendly bullshit and poor attempts to create something original. Once he's dead...all that money won't be worth shit and no one will remember for anything more than a HACK. Now that's priceless my friend.
I have a steel-iron tip for Lost that cuts through my pants every Thursday, that being said, I will give this show a chance if Abrams is behind it. Also, Lt. Daniels from the Wire is in it and he's pretty rad but that fairy from Dawson's Creek is as well... so I guess it's about even at this point for me on the hype meter.
The concept sounds interesting, but still lacks some potential. I also wonder how it will become a series, like will there be more reanimated beings that they have to look for? Or what the main thing they are looking for isn't easy? Maybe I shall watch a few episodes before making a decision on whether I like it or not.
