Warner Home Video has announced a Blu-ray release of THE LOST BOYS, which stars Corey Feldman, Jami Gertz, and Corey Haim. According to DVD Active, the Joel Schumacher directed film will be available to own on July 29, and should retail at around $28.99. The film itself will receive a high definition 1080p transfer, along with a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 track. Extras will include a commentary by Joel Schumacher, additional scenes, a retrospective documentary, a multi-angle video commentary with the 2 Coreys and Jamison Newlander, a Vamping Out: The Undead Creations of Greg Cannom featurette, 4 further behind the scenes featurettes, a photo gallery, a Lost in the Shadows music video, an interactive map, and the trailer.

ultrazilla2000 7:25am, June 5, 2008 I love how ALL of this could have been fitted onto a dual layer DVD and released...but no...we get a bare bones release, then another release a few years later with one or two extras. Now they pump out a Blue Ray version with all the goods they should have released on day one!
