Perfect combo all the way! Burton is the likely choice. With him and Depp being fans of the show, it can't go wrong.

Not sure why anyone would hate on a film that consists of Dark Shadows, Tim Burton and Johnny Depp. This is probably going to be Epic!

Being a big Dark Shadows fan from way back when, I am just glad anybody is finally doing something with this franchises. I think these guys can do this story justice.

Wow this would be the third Dark Shadows remake since the original. They had the 1991 NBC Dark Shadows mini-series with Ben Cross as Barnabas, the filmed 2004 6 Million dollar WB Dark Shadows TV pilot starring Alec Newman as Barnabas, and now Johnny Depp. Of course that is not even including the two Dark Shadows theatrical movies in the 1970s after the series was finished.

Brilliant!! Depp and Burton collaborating once more, and on a film adaptation of one of my favorite TV series of all. BRILLIANT!!

Finally some more news on this! Casting Barnabas was probably the hardest part, and Depp is a good choice, lets hope they do a good job getting the rest of the cast.
