Some pretty sweet news comes in this evening courtesy of Don Calfa's official website. Back in 1985 Don Calfa and Roger Carney wrote a treatment for a sequel to The Return of the Living Dead. The film would be a continuation rather than a sequel and opens at the exact spot where we left off in ROTLD... What if the army got the wrong co-ordinates and the nuclar device landed in the wrong part of town? This treatment features surviving characters Ernie, Spider, Tina, Casey, Chuck and zombiefied Frank and Freddy as they try to escape the now zombie infested and army controlled Louisville... Don is looking to make this into a graphic novel/comic series - a Return of the Living Dead fans dream come true. A first issue is in the works and some preview pages can be found inside.
A return of the living dead comic book would be cool especially if its a sequel.
