This guy is over-rated for days.
Come on, please.
Call me when he wants to take a chance and not do a Saw movie. (Dead Silence was 12:30 am, drunk, b-movie at best). suck it. Grime.
I love the SAW movies. They are.. genius.
It is amazing to see all the work put into it. I've spent hours just watching the extra stuff and the special features things. Its really ingenious how they pulled it all off.
I don't think that any of the SAW movies are better than another because they all kind of go together.. duh?
But I think that II III IV are really well directed.
They're so well thought out.
I think that Darren has a cool Directing style and I hope I'll be as successful one day. *I plan on being a director*
Way to go Dude!
Lookin' forward to new stuff!

I love the saw films. I think that if people reject their persumption that these films are nothing but 90min of gore, and just pay attention, then I bet they can grasp the satire, insight and mesages that these films deliver.
He only did the fourth Saw so Lionsgate would finance his Repo movie.
He's currently working on two different (non-Saw related) projects, editing the final cut of his Fear Itself episode and Repo, in addition to prepping his remake of Scanners.
While I'm reluctant to call him so much as a genius, he is definitely a talented director, and we have way too few of those who are American in this genre.
