This is cool, but I hope Paramount don't think that this means they don't have to release the Friday films uncut.

We're never going to get the Friday films uncut. Paramount just doesn't give a shit about them. We got that box set with that horrible fucking art on the boxes/disks/menus, that's the last we'll probably ever see of Friday 1-8 on any video format again.

will someone tell me what you mean by un-cut? I was never Giant fan of Friday. How were edited? please Pm me and let me know.

All the death scenes in Part 7 were cut to all hell. If you watch the bonus disc that came with the box set, there's a lot of deleted scenes with uncut death scenes. The head crush is the best!

they wer4e all cut in part seven? that bites i wonder if it is worth getting the dvd box set of one through eight and just keep the vhs ones that i already have if the boxed set aitn worth getting.......getting off topic here, but i am prob. one of the few that never seen the f13th the series three seasons so ill prob. ge getting them

Looks like this set is dropping on September 23, 2008... Just in time for the Halloween Horror Blitz. I swear, every year from mid-September through October, my wallet gets emptied. The sad part is that it's usually spent on a lot of films that should have hit DVD years ago. Now, if they would just give Tales From The Darkside a shot...
