During an interview with BBC News, the producers of Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins revealed that Christian Bale has officially signed on to star in all three sequels (assuming they get made), which will be released by Warner Bros. Pictures. "He [Bale] read the script and he loved it, so he's signed on for all three," said Victor Kubicek's business partner Derek Anderson. Click the link below for the interview and watch for more on this soon. The film is about John Connor, now in his 30s and soon to be wife Kate Brewster realize they must create a resistance organization with Earth's remaining survivors against the army of robots slowly being built up by Skynet. As they are building this resistance, one survivor happens to be a traitor in disguise, and has a secret that nobody would ever come to suspect.

I'm excited to see a new one, but do we really need three more?

I don't know if we need three more. Maybe they should wait to see if the next one is half-decent and warrants another film or two to move the story along. I'm so sick and tired of the whole fucking "trilogy" fad that wont seem to die.

They are going a completely different way with the series, so I say bring it, also Bale is a excellent choice for the part.

I don't know. What I liked so much about the previous movies (I liked the first 2 at least) was the future encroaching on present day. With people arriving from the future to disrupt the lives of this woman and her son it had an element of surreality that shaped virtually every scene. This sounds like Starship Troopers, but without the endearing camp and with robots in place of bugs, which doesn't necessarily leave a whole lot.

Fuck you Zombie!!! My governor sucked in the last movie and is getting to old. Bale since he is going to be John is a decent choice.... dazed how are they going a completely different way it's still after the nukes dropped and stuff it's just that things won't turn out excatly the same way

T3 definetely proved that Ahnold is to old for the role. The other actors outshined him. New blood is needed.

I'm conflicted here. I hate McG even more than Uwe Boll (he has no more talent than Uwe Boll and yet retains a fan base) and yet I'd watch almost anything that Christian Bale is in. At the same time there's the PG-13 rating rather than the R-rating. I just don't know yet. Bale likes the script though I'm certain McG will find some way to screw it up (like always...slow motion Matrix-ish shots of incredibly fake-looking stunts while out-of-date pop songs play in the background). For the time being, I'll have to wait to see who else signs onto this. I'm still unsure (especially since Bale has supposedly only a bit-part in the first film of the trilogy).

Christian Bale is great (worth seeing for that alone) but the PG-13 rating really sucks
